Back in the boardroom, Craig holds out the chair for Tara. “See, Craig’s a gentleman, he’s not such a bad guy,” Trump says. Okay, shenanigans! Did Trump not throw a hissy fit over Michael patting Bren on the back after he got called into the boardroom? Consistency, man, consistency.
Tara points the finger at Craig’s bickering with Audrey, which is sort of a clever way to shift the focus off her for a minute. And it leads into a seriously bizarre conversation. Audrey says, “Craig handles you in a manner that you feel like you’re being belittled. I’m not one of his children.” Craig responds, “I had a talk with Audrey. She’s newly married…She stated that her husband is sitting around waiting for her to come back, and he’s not doing anything.” Trump asks, “Do you have a non-ambitious husband?” Audrey giggles uncomfortably, “No, Mr. Trump, I don’t. My husband is a very hard worker. He definitely pulls his slack in many ways.” Craig says, “She loves the fact that she makes more money than him and that she is used to being in control at home.”
All of this adds up to one big, EH? Is he saying that because Audrey makes a lot of money, she’s a power-hungry fiend who can’t deal with being talked to like a child, unlike say, a regular woman who laps it up like a grateful puppy? Oh Craig, Craig, Craig.
Finally, finally, Craig brings it back around to Tara’s failures, but that still doesn’t get him off my crap list. “The concept was made before we left. It was her idea, and she owned it all the way up until even when she pitched to the executives.”

All Tara can do is admit that she made some miscalculations. Trump doesn’t even bother with the theatrics on this one: “Look, this was a marketing task, and you didn’t get it…Forgetting about even leadership, you didn’t get the marketing task, right? I think you’re going to have a great future, I really do…”
Tara, out!
Next week, Audrey has a meltdown, and I think it’s about her terrible past… I’m so there.
