Jennifer Massey calls Ivana Ma disruptive. In other news, Paris Hilton calls Britney Spears a slut.
Chris Russo, on his team: “I need good people around me.” That, and a little course on talking behind people’s backs, something you don’t do with the so-called “bad people” on your team around you.
Chris, to his team: “We’re not here to be friends.” Just in case anyone was under the delusion that he’d be an effective project manager or something.
It’s five minutes into the show and Chris has already been bleeped more times than Kelly on the first season of The Osbournes.
Chris’s accent is such a New York stereotype, it hurts. The only thing that could be worse is if Jennifer Massey sounded like Jennifer Tilly.
Kelly Perdew: “I think I’m the most effective leader.” Does saying it make it come true? I think I’m The Apprentice, I think I’m The Apprentice…
Finally, we see Maria Boren’s softer maternal side. Here’s what she tells Andy as he vies for project manager: “We’re not handing it to you!” Aw, Mom…
Kelly tries to threaten and bully his way into being project manager but no one bows down to him. When he is then randomly picked, he bitterly declares: “Good pick.” Close. Substitute “real” for “good,” and change “p” to “pr,” and you’re getting warmer…
After seeing Kelly “G.I. Joe” Perdew and Chris “Chop Shop” Russo start their own bridal shops, I can’t wait to see Maria and Ivana start their own NASCAR teams.
Chris declares that he’s going to split his profits with his vendors. Thank God he only sold two dresses or he might have had to buy a calculator.

You’d think all those hours Chris spends in a boiler room would pay off on those cold calls, wouldn’t you? What do you mean he doesn’t work in a boiler room?
I’m hardly corporate America, but I’m pretty sure that throwing your hands up in the air and shouting, “This is impossible,” aren’t mentioned in motivational seminars.
Sure, Chris did a lousy job in delegating and motivating, but shouldn’t someone on his team do something other than mope as he gets repeatedly rejected on the phone?
Speaking of rejection, I already miss Raj.
Sandy is way in her element right now. It’s as if you told Andy Litinsky that he had to form a Harvard Finals Club or told Ivana that she had to be two-faced.
Gotta give the hot chick some credit (because they normally have it so tough)—Jennifer really won
people over in those bridal shops. She’s positively charming when she’s not ripping a hapless
teammate a new one.
Getting Bernadette to be their Sandy was Apex’s best idea yet. Too bad they didn’t delegate the whole thing to her and call it a day.
Sandy: “Kelly has way too much confidence in
Maria.” And why not? Not only is she a former
model who minored in home ec, but on her website, she states, “One's business life should be about ‘freaking yourself out.’”
