| At least the man took off his shirt and had rain to wash the soap off. In Net Worth's commercial, the guy just rubbed it on his face and wiped it off with a towel. Plus, the whole commercial had a cheesy, 80's feel to it. |

| . I believe we are aeadrly experiencing God's judgment for the shedding of innocent blood (55 million human being in the womb), our idolatry, etc. I would go a step further in the blame game: the Church . George Barna keeps statistics on many things in the Church in America, and when it comes to abortion, alcohol/drug abuse, pornography, divorce, etc. the Church is no different than the world. I grew up in a mainline pro-choice denomination, left at the age of 17, and subsequently became a minister in an evangelical church. My undergraduate degree is Business Management and Political Science, and I can say with confidence that much of The Church Growth Movement is based on a business model, humanity's wisdom, etc. versus the Power of God growing the Church via the conviction of His Spirit, and subsequent leading. Many of the churches that are growing is not because of evangelism, but inter-church growth- people are leaving churches and going to others. I most recently served as a full-time hospice chaplain for five years, and met many wonderful people. I was amazed how many professing Christians are out there, in talking to them, many today are creating a God in their own image', not one based on His Word. There is a spiritual war going on right now the likes of which most professing Christians cannot see. We are in an age of deception. One of the enemy's biggest lies is that he does not exist- look at the number of Christians who no longer believe in Hell? When confronted with people who were Universalist in nature, or asked how a loving God could send' someone to hell', I would tell them two things: God sends no one, people choose, and second, I would ask them hypothetically: If you had a child raped and murdered, they found the killer, he confessed, and all he got was a $50 fine, would you be upset? 100% of the time, their eyes would get big, and they'd say- sometimes in colorful ways- they would be upset. I would then ask them how they could demand justice, while denying the Creator of the universe, as GOD, the right to demand justice? It was an opportunity to explain grace and the cross. Unfortunately, like Bonhoeffer talks about, today there is much cheap grace'. We are also pressuring at unprecedented levels Israel to give up HIS covenant land- people mistakenly attribute the land to belong to the Jewish people- it is His, and He has covenanted with them to be stewards. The Ez.38-39 war is drawing closer, and Israel is finally standing alone with no one left to depend on but either themselves, or God. Soon, they will look upon Him whom they pierced, and mourn.' (Zech 14).You are right about the powers' in power- they will stop at nothing now that they are in the drivers seat. Soros and the globalists have invested untold sums to radically transform the world order. BHO is a turtle on a fencepost', but a co-conspirator nonetheless. I agree with Robin in many ways, and it is very pragmatic, but there are forces bigger than Trump. If he Perot's the election, the Republic's future would definitely be sealed. It is interesting that so many believed the Cold War' to be over. Read about Anatoily Golitsyn to understand the strategic deception there, and their subversion of every prominent area of influence- media, Hollywood, academia, DC, the NEA, etc.- beginning in the late 1950 s early 1960 s. They understand Machiavelli and Sun Tzu, we do not. I am an optimist by nature, but a realist. We are way past the point of no return. Time is short, we don't know the day or hour, but He said we could know the season'- we are in it. The greatest preparation is to accept His Amazing Grace, and live, and be willing to die, for Him- as a living sacrifice' (Romans 12:1), and even literally (Revelation 20:4). He is merciful, desiring all people to come to the knowledge of the Truth and be saved. In one of David Wilkeson's books in the 90 s warning of coming judgment, he had a political cartoon from the NY Times- it was an image of what was supposed to be The Titanic', but the name of the ship was The U.S. Economy', and the caption read Even God could not sink this ship'. God does have, will have, and IS, the last Word. I too love you all. Pray for discernment, and those in desperate need of Him.Ron MorganPS- My log-in name came from my study of my genealogy in ancestry.com when I found royals' that included Otto the Great, Charlemagne, and Charles Martel to name a few. Most of my lineage is Swiss/German, specifically relatives from Saxony. My true identity is in another Royal'- the King of kings, and Prince of Peace. He came first as the suffering servant' of Isaiah 52-53, the context Judaism could not see; He is coming again as a Conquering King'- who they looked for in 29 A.D., they will soon see. |
